HILTON COVER CHANGED.

The front of the sleeve of Hilton Schilder“s debut album has been changed for the European releases. A label spokesman said that the sleeve showing the knife was confusing for media in Germany and France.

The new sleeve says more about the man as a keyboard specialist according to the German based marketing department. The new sleeve can be seen on this site on the Featured Artist page.

COPY PROTECTION.

2003 is the first year in which the label used copy protection technology in its releases. The system sometimes limits playability on some older computers but prevents digital copying. It is also in compliance with the new European copyright laws whereby persons owning unauthorised copies of the releases may be prosecuted. The label is committed to continue to use the copy protection technology in future issues. Queries about the encoding to newmusic@email.com

NEW HONFO CD.

Janvier Honfo will have a new album in 2004. Once again recorded in Benin and mixed in Germany and once again a combination of his percussive roots sounds and afro-pop.  Perhaps more polished than the last pop album.

Janvier has become a major attraction in his home country appearing in large festivals on his visits to Benin.

Janvier released another percussion project entitled, Babalola, this year. See Associated page in this site.
